OUR SETUP
Anglo Australian Motorsport has proven to be a Team of excellence not only for their wins on the board, but for their sophisticated race car engineering capabilities.
To maintain the high level of continuity, quality, and engineering craftsmanship, and to meet tight racing deadlines, over 90% of the repairs and component manufacture are done in-house at the Anglo-owned factory, which is a short distance from Sydney Motorsport Park.
The 750 sq metre factory has advanced engineering equipment and an efficient layout, which enables the Team to successfully design and manufacture cars and components for the Anglo Race Team, other race teams and performance workshops.
This “one stop shop” facility offers all race car services from wheel alignment to a complete car restoration. All cars are prepared to the highest standards under the guidance of Team Manager, Tim Beale.
The workshop includes:
Set up bay
Five Race car preparation bays
Fabrication area
Machining room
Shock Dyno room
Engine rebuilding facilities
Race car storage facilities
Transporter housing
Office, Briefing and meeting rooms
Anglo has worked closely with all the major Formula Ford chassis manufacturers: Mygale, Van Diemen, Swift and our in-house manufactured Spirit. With this engineering diversity experience along with the Team’s relentless attention to detail, they have been able to develop each car to a winning combination.
